Oregon Immunization ALERT is a statewide immunization information system. ALERT collects immunization information from both the public and private health care sectors and combines that information into one complete record. This helps keep track of a person’s immunization status, even when the vaccinations were received from more than one provider.

Immunization registries are an important component in achieving and maintaining high immunization coverage rates. ALERT helps providers, health departments, and health plans target those who need immunizations the most.

In March 2008 Oregon Immunization ALERT expanded to include adult immunization information. At this time ALERT has a limited amount of adult data and web searches are restricted to ages 0 through 23. The age range will expand once data and resources are available.
