| Transition Packets are available to help existing users gain access to the new ALERT IIS. ALERT IIS will continue to provide excellent service with training and support. Training is available when it is convenient for users, through a variety of formats: online videos, webinars and in-person. Webinar Basics -
- When signing up for a webinar please remember to double check that your email address is correct. You will receive information regarding the training via email, and when you log into the webinar training your email address will be your login.
- Please remember the password you use to register because you will need it to log into the webinar.
- We will cancel all webinars 15 minutes after the start time if no participants have logged in.
- Webinars start on time. Participants who log in more than 15 minutes late need to reschedule because there is no way to repeat missed information.
Video Basics -
- It may take a minute for a video to load.
- After video loads, you may scroll down to find the Playback Controls at the bottom of your screen.
- You may need to adjust your Monitor Display Settings to 1024x768 pixels for optimal viewing.

- School/Children’s Facility Functionality – All school and childcare facility users will need to either watch the video or take a webinar.

Basic Training – all users need to attend basic training before they will get access to the new system. This training is offered through webinars or by video.
- Sign-up for the webinar
- Watch the training videos: Users who submit data through their electronic health record or billing system are not required to watch Adding Historical Immunizations, Adding New Immunizations or Managing Patients. Users who enter directly into ALERT IIS are required to watch all 6 videos to equal one basic training webinar.

Super User Training – each clinic should have a lead contact / super user and all super users need to attend this training after they attend the basic training: sign-up for this webinar.
- Managed Care Organization Basic Training - this training is only intended for designated users from managed care organizations. To schedule an individual webinar, call ALERT IIS Help Desk at 800-980-9431.

Vaccine Inventory Training – all users who will be using the inventory module need to attend this training.

Ordering State Supplied Vaccine – At this time continue to order through the www.oregonvfc.org website.

Generating Reports – Any user who is interested in running clinic specific reports is encouraged to attend these trainings. At this time Reports Training is only available through the following videos.
